When you choose to have Original Medicare Parts A and B as your primary coverage, you can add a Medicare Supplement, often called Medigap to cover i) the Parts A and B deductible and ii) the Part B 20% co-share amounts.
Medicare Supplement plans provide the same coverage nationwide.
At DGAlcorn & Associates, our clients most frequently enroll in one of the following plans:
| Plan F | Highest premium. You pay $0 deductible / 0% co-share. (Available only to individuals eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020) |
| Plan G | Lower premium. You pay the Part B deductible. |
| Plan N | Further lower premium. You pay the Part B deductible and an office visit copay up to $20. |
| High Deductible Plan F or G | Lowest premium. You pay the Parts A and B deductible and 20% co-share up to the maximum of $2,950 in 2026.
