The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, which runs from October 15 through December 7, is upon us.
So Sybil, from New York’s Capital Region area, asked me to review whether her Medicare Part D prescription drug plan was the best fit for her three generic and one brand name medications. After doing some research, I met with Sybil and suggested three plans that include all her medications in their formulary. She chose a plan with no annual deductible and will still reduce her monthly premium expense. While not every case has such a positive outcome it’s my pleasure to see what’s available and perhaps save seniors some money too.
I was delighted to receive her note this morning.
